Old foe, no woe
Our gals play an old foe tonight in the first game of the championship round of the Soo Curlers Cashspiel. Luiza Ebnoether of Switzerland. I am only reluctantly joining in the apparent Great Canadian Sport of spelling peoples names wrong here. It seems every time I see Luzia (sic) or Ebnother (sic2) spelt out it is different. Sorry about that Lizau!
I am pretty sure it was Luiza Ebnoether 3 years ago when our gals won a tough game against them on the cold ice at Ilderton (another sic) to win the South West Ontario Ladies. She (Liza) is a great shooter who calls a gutsy game and more often then not makes it all come together.
Our gals will have to be sharp to prevail over Ebanother this time as well. Fortunately, they have been playing very well and are an even better cohesive unit then they were during the last tilt these two teams had. Sorry about that Luiza.
