Back in the saddle again!
The old "Singing Cowboy", (Gene Autry to you young'uns) had it right when he sang a song about getting back in the saddle where a friend is a friend. Our gals are back in the saddle this coming weekend (Nov. 19th) and getting together with some old friends at the Soo Curlers Womens cashspiel at the beautiful Soo Curling Club. (See LINK below)
Old friends include a world class lineup of top notch ladies teams old and new, (the teams I mean, women curlers never get old). The competition is so good if our gals win their first game they will face either Dordi Nordby or Cathy Trowell in their second. Talk about a Hobson's choice!
In addition to the fabulous curling talent, it also needs to be pointed out that at the in-house, "Welcome All Cafe" , 8 Perogies with salad can be had for only $4.95!! I am sure Bismarks will be available for Brekkie as well so no one will have any excuses for being light on the ice or off.
I think I will go check on flight availabity with The Peoples Airline right now!
