Region Report

Mrs. Webby and I returned last night (Sat.) from a visit to beautiful downtown Norwich where we were treated to some great curling games and some pretty good chili.

Our gals defeated Ann Dunn Friday night and we watched them lose a last rock squeaker, 3-3 coming home with, to old friend Kim Moore who was backed up by one of the nicest people on ice, Lindsay Downer, at third. Both teams played exceptionally well and it was a matter of inches that gave the victory to Kim Moore and her team.

This put our ladies into the mud which they must really like because they then went out and put on a real display over a nice young Jordan Davies team from Burlington. Davies never really got started and it was over in 4 ends, thus giving our ladies a nice rest before their 9:00 PM game last night.

I have no results from that game but will post any I get immediately. In The Hack has someone kindly posting ladies regional results under their Ontario/Quebec section. They seem to be getting a lot more news from Quinte.
